We have been MIA...with LOTS to update you on!

My radio silence this week is not due to something bad; Thank goodness. We all know with horses it can happen suddenly and way too easily.

I had summer horseback riding camp to teach all day, plus teaching lessons before or after, plus finding time for my own riding and lessons leading up to our second Training level event attempt. I feel like a superhero just saying that (I did neglect to mention finding time for my hubby too!!).

Summer camp pretty much drained me in addition to the ridiculous heat we have had. Fortunately it is breaking this week after some storms rolling through this evening.

After our Training level debut, I was determined to go into today's event with a bit more preparation. I am embarrassed to admit I once again totally flubbed the dressage phase, which Ill delve into more in my breakdown later this week, but am PLEASED to say we brought it for our jump phases.

Finally found the right number of braids to work for us

I finally feel like we are getting our mojo back...and I have felt a bit lost lately without it.
